SUMMER JOBS AT THE ARIZONA SNOWBOWL

Summer operations run daily Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day, then Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays until mid-October.

 

BANQUET SERVERS: Prepare banquet facilities for various types of events. Serve food and drinks in a professional manner. Ensure a high quality experience for the guests of the Arizona Snowbowl.

BARTENDERS: Operate high-volume, pre-set key registers, product knowledge important, follow strict guidelines regarding alcohol control, adhere to cash control policies while providing excellent service to guests.

COOKS: Food preparation and production to ensure quality and portion controls as well as health code compliance. Customer relations, shift supervision, training and motivational skills required.

HOUSEKEEPERS: Cleaning and refreshing of cabins on a daily basis, keep linen room clean and organized, cleaning and folding of linens, report when cleaning supplies are low. General property maintenance, i.e. trash removal, cleaning of restrooms in restaurant on a daily basis. Assist with other departments as needed.

LEAD COOK: Food preparation and production to ensure quality and portion controls as well as health code compliance. Customer relations, shift supervision, training and motivational skills required.

LODGE ATTENDANTS: A multi-task position. Must be able to answer phones with knowledge of entire operation and surrounding area. Book room reservations with accuracy, check in/check out guests and assist guests to their cabins. Food and beverage and customer service skills, bartending duties (must be at least 19 years of age), assist with other departments as needed, i.e. maintenance and housekeeping.

MOUNTAIN LODGE ATTENDANTS: Custodial duties, in addition to Food and Beverage assistance.

PREP COOK/UTILITY PERSONS: Responsible for operational aspects of Skyride and Banquets including cleaning, set-up and preparation of the summer operations.

RETAIL SALES ASSOCIATES: Customer/guest service oriented with product knowledge skills. Ability to handle high sales volume days, maintain store standards (merchandising, cleaning, stocking), cash register and cash handling accountability and monthly inventory counts. Seasonal, full & part time positions available.

SKYRIDE/BANQUET COOKS: Food preparation and production to ensure quality and portion controls as well as health code compliance. Customer service and employee relations required.

SKYRIDE/BANQUET UTILITY PERSONS: Responsible for operational aspects of Skyride and Banquets including cleaning, set-up and preparation of the summer operations.

SKYRIDE LIFT ATTENDANTS: Assist passengers on and off lifts, operate and understand all controls (brakes, safety circuits, telephones, radios), check / validate all passenger tickets / passes, provide assistance, inform and encourage guests with a smile and in a safe manner!

SKYRIDE SERVERS: Take orders and serve food in a fast paced outdoor cafe style restaurant. Ensure high quality and prompt customer service for guests.
