Located on the scenic San Francisco Peaks, the Arizona Snowbowl is just a few hours from Phoenix. It’s a great place to escape the summer heat, watch the aspens turn gold in the fall, take in the wildflowers or play a round of Disc Golf. Our Scenic Skyride, which runs from Memorial Day weekend through mid-October, is a fantastic way to experience the Peaks. Since we’re only 70 miles from the Grand Canyon, this makes a great stop along the way. And the outdoor opportunities don’t stop at the ski resort. The Snowbowl is situated in the backyard of the Kachina Peaks Wilderness, which features many great hiking trails.
