Current Story: SNOWBOWL TO REMAIN OPEN THROUGH EARLY APRIL
Flagstaff, AZ – March 25, 2011
After a 23 inch snow storm this week, the Arizona Snowbowl announces that it will remain open with daily operations through April 3, then a bonus weekend April 8-10.
“It has turned out to be a surprise season. We have been very fortunate with our snowfall this year”, states Dave Smith, Snowbowl’s Marketing Director. “This week’s snowfall has made for incredible skiing conditions and with the cooler temperatures, it will keep the snow in wonderful shape. Plus there is more snow in the forecast later in the weekend.”
To celebrate Spring, Snowbowl will be decreasing their lift ticket rates to $39 from March 28 through April 3, then to $25 for April 8-10. Lift hour operations will change to 10 am to 4 pm. There will also be discounted lift tickets available on their website.
Other promotions that continue through the end of the season:
- Two for Tuesdays on all-day Adult lift tickets
- Women’s Wednesdays - $65 includes 2 hour lesson and lunch
- Boomer Thursdays - $26 lift ticket for those 50 & over
- Family Fridays – From 2-6 PM, $10 lift ticket, $10 rental equipment, $10 lesson
- Spring Break Student lift ticket for $25
