Employees issued company uniforms (jackets, vests, rain gear, aprons, chef coats, etc) shall be held accountable for uniform and will be charged replacement value if not returned upon termination of employment.
Employee shirts will be issued at no cost (shirts must be tucked in). Employees must be in uniform to work, which includes a nametag with your correct name and/or a Snowbowl vest.
Solid color shorts, jeans or other solid color long pants are acceptable attire depending on department, HOWEVER, they cannot be faded, hole ridden or patched. Waist band of pants should overlap the shirt. Additionally, leg length of shorts should not be below the kneecap or classified as "short" shorts. Ball caps shall face forward. Each department may have specific policies that need to be followed in addition to those listed above.
In the interest of safety all summer employees shall wear sturdy flat-soled shoes while at work. Open toed sandals, Tevas, clogs, slides or other casual footwear are not deemed safe and ARE NOT ALLOWED IN RESTAURANT AS PER COCONINO CO HEALTH DEPT. OR ANY OTHER WORK ENVIRONMENT.
Facial hair is allowed on men if neatly trimmed and not overly long.
Hair should be kept clean and neatly groomed, not hanging loose at sides of face, no radical hairstyles (i.e. Mohawks) or hair coloring (green, purple, orange, etc.). Long hair on men must be restrained in a ponytail, braid, or kept neatly pulled back.
Visible facial piercing is limited to ONE small nose stud - NO other facial piercings of any kind are acceptable.
Smoking and smokeless tobacco not allowed while on duty or in workplace.
Smoking is allowed only in designated areas located at each lodge exterior.
Smoking during breaks is allowed if time allows and supervisor authorizes the break. Employee must clock out for breaks.
No spit cups or spitting of biohazardous waste is allowed.
All employees must adhere to all State and County smoking laws.
While on duty no text messaging, reading text messages or personal use of cell phones are allowed. Company computers are not to be used to access personal accounts: e-mail, Facebook, Twitter or any other electronic message forms.
Arizona Snowbowl is a drug free workplace and has a separate drug policy in the employee handbook. Use or possession of any illegal substance in the workplace will result in immediate termination.
Drinking in a company vehicle or operating a company vehicle or equipment while impaired is not allowed.
Music at work stations must be approved by Department Manager. If allowed, music must be in good taste, volume at acceptable levels, and not offensive to any co-employee or guest.
Dogs or pets are not allowed at Arizona Snowbowl.
Foul language, swearing, or any offensive remarks will not be tolerated.
Employees shall not engage in horseplay or playing games while on duty.
Harassment, teasing, or speaking negatively about guests or co-workers is not allowed.

Outdoor employees will be issued jackets and / or vests and will be held accountable for the replacement value if not returned at end of season or term of employment.
Indoor employees are required to purchase a Snowbowl vest which can be worn over a personal garment. Approved Snowbowl shirts can also be worn.
Shirts with tails must be tucked in. Midriff blouses and shirts are not allowed. No skin shall be visible when standing upright.
Pants must be clean, not faded, hole ridden, or patched and shall fit properly.
