The Scenic Skyride
will open for summer operations Memorial Day weekend, including
the Peak Side Cafe.
Our Skyride shuttles you to an elevation of 11,500 feet for panoramic
views atop this extinct volcano. From this elevation, you can see
over 70 miles of world-class scenery — including the Grand
Canyon and downtown Flagstaff.
The Skyride offers great opportunities for photography, viewing
wildlife, hiking,
or just enjoying the peaceful ride up and down Arizona’s highest
mountains. Once you reach the top, a Forest Service interpretative
specialist is available to assist you and answer any questions regarding
the biology and geology of the region.
The Scenic Skyride operates daily from 10 AM to 4 PM from Memorial
Day weekend through Labor Day, weather permitting. After Labor Day,
the Skyride operates Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays through mid-October.
The Scenic Skyride is approximately a 25 minute ride in each direction.
Please be prepared for cooler conditions at the top of the ride
and the possibility of inclement weather.
Snowbowl Ranger Talks happen every Friday, Saturday
& Sunday from 10 am to 4 pm at the top of the Skyride. Learn about
the flora,
fauna, history and geology of the San Francisco Peaks. Talks are
sponsored by the NPS/USFS Interpretive Partnership program.

The Skyride is FREE on your birthday! Present a valid ID at the
counter to receive your complimentary ticket.
Bring your 2007-08 Season Pass to the ticket counter and receive
your free Skyride ticket.

Lunch deals
Groups of 15 or more can save by getting a Skyride ticket and a
boxed lunch — $14.95 per person. Or choose from several lunch
options:
- Seated Deck Lunch ($8.95 per person): Any
sandwich on our menu plus a complimentary beverage
- Box Lunch to Go: ($8.95 per person): Deli sandwich, bag of
chips, fruit, cookie, and a complimentary beverage.
- Kids Menu ($4.95 per person; for youngsters up to age 12):
Hot dog, hamburger, or chicken fingers and a complimentary beverage.
