Unseasonably warm temperatures have forced the closure of the Hart Prairie beginner area, located at the lowest elevation of the ski area. Unfortunately, there will be no beginner Ski & Ride School lessons available, including SKIwee. For those skiers and snowboarders with prior experience riding lifts, we still offer Ridge Rider/Runner and Adult lessons. Conditions on the upper mountain are excellent and we look forward to more great spring skiing. We have reduced ticket rates to $30 for Adults and $12 for Juniors.
A children’s ski program with emphasis on fun and safety. Classes are formed based on age and skiing ability and includes lift ticket, rental equipment (skis or snowboard), lessons, progress card and conscientious supervision. Lunch is provided for full-day classes only. The half-day class is afternoon only and is available Monday - Friday, non-holiday. Lessons start at 9:30 AM and 12:30 PM. Please register in the Children’s Center, (928) 779-1951 x148, at the Hart Prairie Lodge, morning registration is from 8:00 – 9:30 AM, afternoon registration is from 12:00 – 12:30 PM. Reservations are required on weekends and holidays.

This is the school everyone likes! Let us provide your children with adventures in a fun learning environment with our coaches. Children learn to ski (or ski better) and experience the mountain and natural surroundings. Program includes an all-day lift ticket, full day rental equipment (skis or snowboard), progress card and lessons for both full and half day classes. Children must bring their own lunch money. Lessons start at 9:45 AM and 12:45 PM at the base of the Hart Prairie Lift. Half Day is either morning or afternoon session. Without equipment, please register in the Rental Shop. With your own equipment, please register in the Children's Center.

The goal of this series of lessons for the first time skier or snowboarder is to enable new snowriders to develop life-long skills and independence on the mountain. Package includes 3 full-day lift tickets, rental equipment and 3 two-hour group lessons. Please register in the Rental Shop.
